I just missed my god damn flight back to Milwaukee. The fucking rental car company had my billing wrong on my car and I had to go into the office in order to correct it.

So as I'm walking up to the ticketing counter I see a sign the at reads "Bags will not be accepted less than 45 minutes before your scheduled flight." I look up and it's EXACTLY 45 minutes before my flight.

It takes 10 minutes to get up the the counter and when I get there, sure enough, no dice. Now I have to wait in the airport for 5 1/2 FUCKING HOURS for the last flight out tonight.

I'm sitting in the Atrium watching the Falcons game. Call the girlfriend to tell her what happened and she gets mad at ME!

C'mon day. Get worse. I dare you! AAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!

Been there, done that. But, what you're really trying to say is that you didn't allow yourself enough time. When you picked up your car, didn't you verify the information?

Sorry if I sound harsh. Being a frequent flyer, I've gone through this before and have learned to always check my info. Saves you having to wait around 5.5 hours at an airport.

Good thing -- airports have bars and you get to watch football.

Busty,

I feel for you man! But if it's any consolation, the sun finally decided to come out after a long ugly cold wet weekend here in Madtown.

So even though you want to get home. Not much to miss.

I hope it stays out long enough for my ultimate game at 4:00 though!

Now to make matters worse, I just got a call from my Dad saying that he can get tickets to Auburn/UGA next weekend. And the owner of the shop I've been working at all week had two extra tickets to the Packers Falcons game the next day.

Where the fuck were these people when I asked about tickets 5 MONTHS AGO?!?!?!?!

The only way things can get worse at this point is if someone rapes me in the sirport bathroom, my plane goes down, and the sirline loses my bags.

hey, at least frerotte threw the ball down in the red zone instead of handing the ball off, which was actually effective against y'alls D.

Well, at least if your plane goes down you won't be needing those bags the airline lost... :)

Uhhhh, hook a brother up?

That sucks, dude. I thought you were leaving yesterday. There are worse places than Hartsfield to kill time. One of the last airports with smoking lounges.

there are more smoking lounges than you think... in fact, the only two i recall from traveling with L.S. that don't are O'Hare and Midway. Admittedly, we don't fly as much as we used to, but a decent amount. Hell, SLC has a bunch of them. So does Tampa, Denver, Dallas...

Got home @ 11:30pm last night. Sooooooo glad to be back. I love visiting ATL. Love seeing my boys and girls.

But I gotta tell ya. There's really something awesome about getting home and crawling into bed with my lady and having the dog at the my feet.

Bring on the winter. I fucking love it up here.

Sorry I didn't get up there, and even sorrier about y'all being too dumb to get to a plane on time ;)

Keep me posted on Thanksgiving.

I hope using the internet at the airport cost less than the $10 tuna sandwiches.

No problem dog. Christen and I can't wait to catch up with you guys in either Bama or Columbine.

But as always, I hope you die in a firey car crash before that happens.

No. No. It's a fine avatar. The sullen girl on her birthday is a classic image, even if displeasing.

Shit, that's where you was. You pull one out at the airport while you were waiting?
