I read that just a year or two ago -- excellent book! I usually found his endings overlong and drawn out, and this one really isn't any different, and yet this time, I feel I 'got it'.

I think you chimed in when I said I just bought Uncle Tom's Cabin. I was maybe 100 pages into it and not enjoying it one bit. I took out my bookmark and threw it on the desk, which means when I want to try it again I will, if ever.
