1-6.

this is the dumbest fucking reasoning. so it's the bears fault that they beat the teams that they are SUPPOSED to beat? how does that count against them?

and for all intensive purposes, they should be 7-2 if it wasn't for that browns debacle. even that redskins game.

meanwhile, miami is 3-6.

no, actually, it's not dumb reasoning. i just said that you beat the teams you are supposed to.

look, all i'm saying is i'd like to see the bears beat a team with a winning record. you know, a good team. i would think you guys would feel the same way.

i KNOW you don't think the bears are going anywhere this year other than a wild card loss.

And it'll hurt pretty bad coming from a third tier boarder like you.

And I think we'll come back and win, but see, I'm a realist--so we might not.

And to the other Chi-Obs: I'd probably actually be pulling for the Bears since they are a great story this year but your boy Spade sours the whole thing by being such a miserable fuck---yelch.

Coming into this week, the Bears aren't even top five in easiest schedule played thus far in terms of W-L.

do you have this list? i'm curious to see it.

If being a miserable fuck is rubbing in your faces when you're wrong about a team you know nothing about and hardly pay any attention to (but act like an authority on)

well then yes, I'm a fuck. And color me miserable.

are they going to win the super bowl? nah, probably not. but would I have ever thought that they'd be going to the playoffs this year? I thought it, but it was hard to really believe. they get to the playoffs, and everything else is gravy.

6-3 BITCHES

Look, they are going to win the division. They are not even going to have a losing record in doing so. They could lose 85-0 to the Falcons in the playoffs and I'll wear a smile on my face because they still will have exceeded expectations after Grossman went down.

Dan Patrick ran the list down this week on his radio show. I believe the Colts are number 1 and the Bengals are way up there. When you play teams like the Texans twice, it's pretty easy to make this list.

interesting. because 3 of the remaining games are against "sub par" teams.

I'll admit I was wrong about some things. One of them was not the 2005 Bears.

in all seriousness, how do you see them finishing out the year?
you can't be totally comfortable with the way orton is playing at QB vs. the panthers, falcons, bucs, steelers.
against these teams, orton WILL have to throw the ball. even vs. the vikings, who are suddenly able to put up points.

yes, the same bucs that lost to the same san francisco 49er's that should have beat your bears if you take away a freak (yet awesome) play.

i will not be surprised if they lose at least 2 of those 4 games. that's why good teams beat the teams that they are supposed to. but i am not expecting them to lose. the defense is the best in the league. as long as the offense is efficient and doesn't do anything stupid, they'll be fine. the vikings only put up points off of an int, kick return and punt return today. the int may happen vs. the bears, but not the special teams.

if you take away that play, the bears still win 10-9.
