no kidding, I feel like I never get any time to relax.

At home it's one project after the next, or one diaper after the next...

I still love my family and love my life.

i was on the go this weekend almost as much as during the week, but also did stuff at night, including a show last night, so i am pretty tired this morning. luckily, my two bosses are out today, so i should have it pretty easy.

Saturday I was drunk ridiculously early, and I was out by like 6:00 PM. It made Sunday seem like a long day. I was actually looking forward to coming back to work for the first time in a long time.

This is one of those weekends that I am glad I did it, but FUCK if I'm not paying for it. Up at 6AM CST saturday, in Athens, GA by Noon EST. drunk by 3, whooping it up in the Stands with Derris till 11, and doing Jaeger bombs at 1:30, and then trying vainly to find a ride (note to self, not all black dudes are named "Jeezy") walking 119 miles back to Bloor's truck, getting lost trying to find a friend's apt, listening to his redneck girlfriend yammer. Then waking up at 7am, and having this convo:
GAR: "Bloor, gimmer yr. keys, we're out"
Bloor" "nnnhhhahhgg"
GAR: "I'm driving"
Harry Monger: "Y'all take me by my car"
GAR: yep.
and taking Mong by his car, and Bloor to Redlands...then trucking on to Montgomery by 10AM.

I am so tired I can hardly think. I need a weekend to recover from my weekend.
And, in the words of Derris "If anybody on the goddamn obner board says anyfuckingthing I'm' get ona goddamn plane. PUSSIES."

It´s 11 25 and I still haven´t left for work.... It´s getting bad.. I can come and go as I please and the last month or so have been pretty bad. Coming in at 1 or 2... leaving at 6 when I decide ´this is bullshit.´ This slacker needs to straighten up!

Common theories contend that it has something to do with the illusion of time, with regards to the amount of time spent during the week-proper. See, five days of week-proper and only two days of week-end would lead the body to feeling confused about where the time was best spent. Due to the fact that the economy is perched upon the arcane belief that five days of forty or more hours is most efficiently spent in employment, the two days of non-employment time, during which many citizens take advantage of the relative freedom to accomplish tasks they could not otherwise take on during the week-proper (such as yard work, reading, sport, or "whooping it up," as some are wont to say) actually warp time - time, of course, being a fluid and ill-defined conceptual entity the perception of which varies from citizen to citizen, the result, then, being, of course, that while each person may interpret the way his or her time was spent, most will concur that the weekend was "too short," or "flew by," if you will, preferring instead that the week-end be as long as the week-proper, but, as previously stated, the economy's delicate balancing act demands a workforce revolving around that forty-hour workweek, negating the ability of most citizens to work such a light labor schedule.

days tend to fly by when I wake up at 1030 and it gets dark by 5.
