i'm trying to figure out a way to buy this for my wife and have her not realize that it's for me, as i truly have absolutely no need for it.


Plantraco's 3.6g Butterfly, the world's smallest RC plane, thinking about this for my father in law but it's a bit pricey.

i really can't think of one thing that I really want. I never can think of anything for xmas or b-days.

yeah me neither, that's why i'm kind of looking for inspiration. i'm kind of expecting Dalen to post something totally conspicuous that's going to catch my fancy, like a remote controlled seat warmer with a dvd player or something. basically i just need some useless gadget ideas for the dudes in the wife's family.

woah, i had a girlfriend in college that was all about these. what age group were they aimed at anyway? weren't they just some kind of fancy epistolary fantasy story?

well......it's a fantasy, mystery, magical love story....
the artwork is neat. and i love that the story is told through postcards and actual letters that you pull out of envelopes to read.

i'm not sure of the age group they are aimed at....but, i wouldn't say it's a 'young' age group.

I also heard that these two shows are coming out on dvd, which means I need to pick them up.

i bought one present for the wife - makes it easy. my wife buys all the other presents for everyone else.

I blew my gift giving load last year when I gave my mother a digital camera. She actually uses it, too. Your family is probably not as technophobic, however.

if i gave my father in law a digital camera he would wipe his ass with it, take a picture of it with his 6 billion dollar digital camera, email me the picture, and call me a faggot. that's what makes this all so difficult, you've really gotta go obscure or useless to make sure that he hasn't already bought it for himself.
