rather than the "free one" urban legend i always thought it was good luck if you found one on your wrapper. hence the reason i had it etched on my body--plus there's a sense of whimsy associated it with it too.

I'm not in the slightest a fan of tattoos, but I have to say that's awesome.

I think if I were to get a tattoo I'd do something completely stupid, like a tiny Ernest Borgnine head or something, which is why I'd never committ something permanent to my skin. That, and the thought of how increasingly ridiculous 99% of tattoos are going to look as you grow older.

i've been contemplating on getting mine for years... but i'm way too chicken to deal with needles. i have the concept/design ready though, it's just if & when i can get over my fear of needles.
