Today, the inaugural meeting of the Dallas Obnish took place at Chipotle. Much fun and food was had. While jagged opted to maintain his fit and trim physique by ordering the Bol, I insisted upon devouring the burrito WITH tortilla, because I am a gigantic fat ass.

Shawn's good people, and now he's a member of The Fracturnity. As usual, I had to resort to the very unartistic method of extended arm self-portrait photography, which I still haven't mastered despite repeated attempts throughout the FT WORLD TOUR '04. After three completely botched tries, Shawn had to come to the rescue and bail me out with his very Ansel Adams-esque style...

I love meeting fellow Obnerinians!

P.S. Could someone wave a magic wand and make me at least marginally photogenic???

I dunno about making you photogenic, Bob, but that is one of the best facial expressions ever.

Oh, and Chipotle rocked, I ate Korean food with my sister (mmmm..Bul Go Gi) and am now more than ready to head the fuck back to Redlands and continue my Lost Weekend-like existence

I have never been to Chipotle's, much less know where one is. They must not be popular in So Cal.

Anyway, Bob, I always love your photo expressions cuz you tend to look surprised that your photo is being taken. "Wha? My photo? Huh?" :D

And, I agree with OPA!, jagged is quite cute!

They only have a few in Oregon as well... maybe they're not popular in So Cal because you can get a better burrito for less money in So Cal (and also in Oregon... I very rarely hit Chipotle's when there's Cha Cha Cha here).

Chipotle is all the rage on the West Side - no pun intended. I have a friend who eats there at least 3x a week. It's a quickie burrito stand owned by McDonalds - I guess it's an entry in the La Salsa/ Baja Fresh / upscale mexican food chain wars. It's REALLY good, quick, and fairly affordable to boot....
