The best money I ever spent was in hiring a professional to help me write a resume about 5 years ago. Might have cost $100 or so, but whenever I have needed to update it, I just go off of what she originally did. And it was good.

I've never actually had to make one but I've edited/proofread tons of them, so if you need an extra set of eyes when you get it done, feel free to ask.

Took me 6 months or so to get mine right, but I'll be happy to look at yours.

I have one that is pretty good that I have been evolving over the past 8 years, that seems to get me interviews at a lot of places. My charm wins them over and gets me job offers.

This is a good idea to keep updating it even if you aren't looking at the moment. For one, you'll always have a relatively up to date one on hand for an unexpected opportunity. Perhaps more importantly its hard as hell to remember all the details of your role in a project after a few years have passed and particularly difficult to be able to quantify the impact your efforts had for your company/client/etc.

Would be happy to provide a fourth, fifth or sixth set of eyes, whatever it might be at this point.

Its not bad. I've seen much worse from people actually trying to get me to give them a job... A little polish and we'll get this girl a new job yet.

Hey Dri,
If you are still looking for some input, I just got done looking over resumes for potential new hires. I think I could give you some tips.

I will not help you because I strongly believe in a glass ceiling for women.

I like updating my old one, because I seem to find better words to describe what i have been doing, or a more concise way to express it.
