As long as we're wasting space with this, I might as well bring up my favorite kind of beer.

Mostly so I can find out about new kinds because they are all delicious.

My current fave's Duvel.

Yup, Duvel's friggin great. And while I'm at it, Belgians make the best beer of any single country, imo.

Belgian styles are decent, nice and complex, but i don't really care for them at all.

Just finished my last bottle of JBLTBWA, a Weis. It was a homebrew entitled "Jared Better Like This Belgian Weis Ale," because he was the one who requested it. So good, mild, drinkable , and summery - I'll definitely brew it again.

On a related note, anyone ever tried the Hef' from Gordon Biersch?
Surprisingly good.

Corsendonk is this shittendonk. Dat's good. And I've only had Biersch's seasonal Pumpkin Hef, which was vomit-inducing, although I usually love pumpkin brews.

Lindeman's Kriek, although Kasteelbier and Triple Karmaliet are good too.

Are you both on crack??? This is tantamount to my irrational dislike of the Rolling Stones. ;)

When I worked security like 8 years ago some dude gave me a bottle of Duvel. I think it's still sitting, unopened, in my parents house somewhere.

Chimay is the only one on the list I've had. I do really like it!

Can't say that I'm familiar with the others except for Hoegaarden and Stella Artois. I'll have to try Duvel.

Right now, my heart steers towards Czech beer.
