Hey Gearheads,
Any opinions on this?

New Roland SP-404. I'm hoping to scratch my technology itch before I have to start worryin' about christmas, and I'm thinking this might be the winner..

Looking for something portable to "create"/play live with, and this looks as fun/easy to master as anything else, especially for the price. Haven't seen many reviews, but the ones that I have found don't mention anything overwhelmingly negative...

Retails for around $400, but I'm trying to get hooked up for a bit less...or at least $400 w/an extra card & extended warranty included...

It's mighty tempting for that price.
