I can almost guarantee Ana-Lucia didn't kill her, or they'd have made it more obvious. Of course, I didn't think of it at the time, but it makes perfect sense now - and especially given that the show will reveal who the killer is in a couple episodes. Some folks on lost-forum.com are examining screen caps that seem to show Shannon has a large stab wound, not a gunshot wound. Who knows with this show?

it didn't hurt that kate lost major points after finding out about her and the hobbit.

On the one hand, I'm wicked psyched that Shannon's off the island (as far as we know), but it's like trading in 1 annoying, unlikeable character for another with Ana Lucia. Neither seem to have much in the acting department, either...

I'd much rather look at Shannon, but that's me.

Ana Lucia is actually law enforcement. I've seen screen caps of a future episode that shows her in uniform. The one posibility I've seen about her is that she was the other agent, undercover, that was on the plane responsible for taking Kate back to the states.

Oh no doubt. But good golly did Shannon do nothing but serve to annoy me. At least Sawyer has that self-deprecating/loathing charm thing to redeem his insufferable tendencies...I could've just muted all of her scenes and been better off.

i read something in tvguide or somewhere that maggie was kind of upset that they killed her character off b/c she'd just bought a house in hawaii so i guess she's a dumb blonde in real life too.

Great episode.

I'm gonna give it a 6/10 because my enjoyment is beginning to suffer due to the addition of the Ana Lucia character. She's like fucking Jar Jar Binks to this show. Kill her quickly.

i'm starting to like her. her attitude is a bit more explicable now. and she's got setfani-esque abs.

Her character makes a lot more sense now. Her teeth are still disturbingly blazing white for someone trapped on an island for 48 days. She does look great in a tank top.

The Nathan "was not a good person" line was weird, considering how psychotic the Others have been thus far. Like they kill people at random but they "good?"

I see why she's so suspicious, that was nicely done. But she's still a bossy cunt. I could stand that mouth for about 2 sec before I got blood on my hand.

She would whup your ass. Just ask Nathan and Goodwin and Sawyer. Oh, and that one Other, too.

Her need to control is a form of post-traumatic stress, a channelling of rage and despair, and a way to fend off panic and hopelessness. But yeah, she bossy.

Have the Others really killed anyone except for Goodwin killing Nathan tonight?

Ana Lucia is killing this show... I had such high hopes for this episode, but I think it was the worst one of the entire run.
