I'll have to take a look at my collection for this one...but I'm liking the choice of Roomsound. It reminded me to listen to this again, and its even better than I remember it.

Radiohead - Kid A (I'm starting to like this more than OKC.)

I think it has the best song they ever made, "How To Disappear Completely."

Hail to the Thief is still my favorite Radiohead album though, followed by Kid A and Amnesiac.

4 - Notwist - Neon Golden
3 - The White Stripes - White Blood Cells
2 - Unwound - Leaves Turn Inside You
1 - Spoon - Girls Can Tell

The Glands! What a weirdo ;) Wonder if they're ever gonna get back together?

You know about my love for this album...and it's all your fault, so I guess you're King of the Weirdos.

That Unwound album is a dark horse, huh? The more you listen, the more it gets under your skin. Kind of like that Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons that another mentioned and that I also love. But does that opening couple minutes of drone bother you at all on the Unwound first disc? Or do you skip it? You probably have the LPs, right?

Really doesn't bother me at all, the album is just so dark, it insidiously bores to the center of your brain and stays there. I do have the LPs but mostly listen mostly to my CD-R copy, so easy to skip if I need to. Speaking of vinyl, my Glands album is vinyl too, but record 1 is bored off center. ARRGGGHHH!!!!!

hmm. I got this from a friend seems like waaaay back. Must have come out early on in the 00's. I listened to it once and it didn't strike me...

Maybe should dig it up and check it out. I did like the packaging at least, if you're talking about the one I'm thinking of - double disc set with a white line drawing of a horse on black background?

You should dig it out. I bought based on someone's recommendation and it got lost in my collection. I dug it out at the beginning of this year for a last spin before potentially trading it in and was surprised how very good it is.

Neko Case - Blacklisted

The Avalanches - Since I Left You
