Saw this on Trouser Press's webpage and thought this might be fun to see who you all think will be name dropped in 2006.

i.e.-Franz Ferdinand namedropped/compared to Orange Juice
Mars Volta-any slew of Prog rock bands.

What bands will be namedropped/dredged up as influences of bands in 2006?

Syd Barrett

If it was Orange Juice this year surely then it must be The Pastels next year.

I'd like to see a Strawberry Switchblade vogue come in this year.
