While driving home in the dark, tape a flashlight to your dashboard so it lights up just your face for other drivers to see as they pass, then grimace frighteningly as you sing along with the Stooges' Fun House at the top of your lungs.

I did this last Friday! without the flashlight of course.

Nirvana's Nevermind is always good. Get your full scream on durring Territorial Pissings while weaving in and out of traffic.

I took all the fastest drinking songs from The Pogues and made a mix a few weeks ago. Man, that causes dangerous driving.

FIRST we had some WHISKEY, then we had some BEER...oh, shit, sorry about that swerve, old lady.

Dalen's distinction is an often overlooked yet necessary one.

Day: Metal, punk, Classic rock
Night: Jazz, Ambient/IDM, Trip-Hop

Wait, didn't we give you a shitload of music that you need to catch up with? Did you buy any? I would think that would be a great source of driving music.

The only post worthwhile in this thread.

Oh, and BRUUUUUCE!! That Live 1975-1985 3 discer has some choice cuts to stomp the pedal to the floor to.

And, both Strokes albums.

Shit load is right! Yeah, that's long term. I'm sifting through them as we speak. Some good stuff I've never heard of. These will be whole CD's I will buy. Not a temp mix like my driving music request.

Chemical Bros. tends to make me drive really fast. Okay, I admit, the simple act of breathing makes me drive really fast, but "Dig Your Own..." and "Exit..." are excellent drivers.

"Let Them Eat Pussy" by Nashville Pussy will cut your commute time in half, add 10 points to your drivers license, double your auto insurance rates and make you actually consider smoking crystal meth.

It's 28 minutes of magic and I love it.
