I had a long, tough week too. Holiday season in the liquor business, so just imagine. I work tomorrow, last day of the week for me, and luckily it is an easy day. I'm cracking my first beer in 12 minutes.

Dranked whole bottle of Country Nog because Thanksgiving's a long ways off and I can buy more even though it was for that particular holiday. There's brandy and rum in the cupboard that isn't going to make it through Thursday, either.

I went out after work and my gf treated me to a free dinner (prime rib, asparagus, baker, wine) at the restaraunt she manages; now I'm waiting for her to get off so we can go out.

Currently drinking coffee but I'm about to crack some Rex Goliath Pinot Noir.

yeah, i started drafting my research paper, had a nervous breakdown about my research paper, had an ephinany about my research paper, then had another nervous breakdown. in the meantime i managed to spend about 20+ hours in the library in the past four days, with five hours there this afternoon! and i'll be back tomorrow.

but enough bitching, let the drinking commence.

Because I empathize with her situation. She has to read your posts & mine after a rough week.

Had a couple girly martinis after work with a co-worker (she treated me early for my birthday). But no more for me. I have to go around to a bunch of bars here and sell baked goods for the burlesque troupe I'm in tonight. In costume. Which means not a lot of clothes. And it's frickin' freezing outside! I'm going to hate this. And they'll get pissed if we drink while doing it.

went out and split a pitcher of Fireman's #4 Blonde Ale with my former officemate who finished up her Ph.D. over the summer and just moved out of the office tonight. then i came back and moved all my stuff into her old space, which is awesome. Now I'm fully sobered and might actually do some schoolwork. the wife is off doing girlie happy hour and then working on a paper, so i'm on my lonesome tonight. prolly cruisin' the board for a couple hours.

This, I actually have...gift from a real nice (and cute) co-worker. Can't partake, though, as I may be getting a job offer on Monday & I don't know if they drug test or not. So just Newcastles for now...
