"Fickle Cycle! Fickle Cycle! Fickle Cycle!!!"

... is on that compilation someone graciously posted not long ago, and I can only describe that song as the kind of music that would make Loog swerve his truckster into a telephone pole.

Is their other material VASTLY different than that? Why the love? Do folks like having nonsense shouted at them 14 times in a row?

A lot of times, Loog's rants about Ticklemonster music seem to be just for show, or just to piss Haq off. But this song really brings it on home.

Your perceptions are correct: Animal Collective is the most unlistenable music on the planet. Just. Crap.

I don't know this track but I want to hear it.

Animal Collective is just about the best band making music these days, in my opinion. I value my opinion.

I love that we agree on a lot of music but are just diametrically opposed when it comes to this band. Hilarious.

I'd rather take an ice pick to my ear drums than listen to Animal Collective.

I just don't get it. This band, that is. And lots of other things, too, I suppose.

I thought Sung Tongs was unlistenable when I heard it a few years ago. I've heard two tracks off of Feels, and I actually kinda like them. I haven't bought it yet, though.

I'll give ya that my opinion is based on one song. But JEEZUS. That song is godawful. Man o man. You just can't believe everything you read on the internet.

Thanks for the mix though, in all seriousness.

It's what keeps things exciting between us after all. (I will use this against you sometime in the future, rest assured.) (By the way, did you read this article on Trey? Who'd'a thunk it?)

I'd like to request of you, contradiction, that you ready this track for me when preparing that massive AIM transfer we talked about. You and Aural Stuffing are the only cool kids in this joint. "The Purple Bottle" is the best song released this year, and the rest of you suck cyanide.

Oh, hey look, it's all the same people saying all the same shit as always.

"Fickle Cycle" is a B-side which apparently was not deemed worthy of inclusion on Feels if that tells you anything. It's not drastically different stylistically, but it's not really up to par either.

I just don't get Animal Collective. Its crap to me. But you know I am open minded as shit so somebody get up off they shoulder blades and send me some of the new shit.

Animal Collective... WTF!!!!

They are great, but not because their songs mean anything, which they don't.
