That was hilarious earlier in the season when Quinn accused Bob Hartley and the Thrashers of being thugs when he has basically let Domi do the drty shit for years.

Also, the Thrashers beat Philly last night and finally look to be finding themselves. Sucks to not have Heatley since he is basically the league MVP but it just wasnt gonna work having an open murderer on the ice down here.

Quinn's also kind of an idiot.

Well, that could be because Quinn's now heading a team of limp-wristed Europeans.

I think Quinn sucks and I generally think this is the worst Leaf team in over a decade. I don't know any better, though. I can't root for the Canadiens.

Quinn was right, ATL played like thugs early on. I can't stand Hartley. His biggest contribution to the NHL is the hurry up face off. He really abused the time ref's allowed for players to get on the ice when in COL. Drove me freakin crazy in the playoffs vs the Kings. I should hate Quinn more for leaving the Kings while still under contract. But it's tough to get mad at a man who knows a Jerry Buss owned team that doesn't involve Jerry West is a joke. Makes him sharper than half of LA.

At least Domi in his prime was a solid up & down 3rd line winger. A dirty dirty winger but he earned his ice time legitly. Eric Boulton.... what the hell is that? Quinn's no angel but the way ATL played early on anyone could've called them out & gotten away with it.

Did anyone see that Philly v Pittsburgh game Wednesday when Crosby stepped out of the penalty box & just took over? He steps out with :16 seconds into the 3rd sets up Palffy with a great play. Palffy doesn't score but Crosby draws a penalty. That was the first :39 seconds on the ice. :68 seconds later he makes a great pass to Malone who buries it. :56 seconds later Crosby throws in a rebound for a goal of his own on a play that started on a play with an amazing pass that he made. 2:59 into the 3rd vs one of the leagues better teams & he has an assist on a PP he drew & a goal off a great pass that he made (if that makes sense). Then he scored on a breakaway in OT to win it. Amazing & the man just turned 18 in August.

As to Hartley, I'll take him, dude has a ring, we are a young franchise and need someone like him. Shit, dude has the balls to bench Kovalchuk when he goes into one of his "I don't get back on D" phases, and he has toughened up P. Stefan to the point where he has become pretty good.
