If you wonder why I ask, see the SElf thread...

What was the name of the song/s that God Lives Underwater had some success with in the 90's?? I hear they had a radio hit or two. Thanks! Also, were these records any good?

Yeah that's one of the songs I remember hearing on the radio. I think the other song was All Wrong.

All I remember of them was that weird video where the Asian dude regurgiatated a bunch of food/ate in reverse.
I was always so distracted by that video that I never really processed anything about their music.

Kind of a beat-y rock thing, like a less-angry Nine Inch Nails, right?

I always thought the singer's voice sounded kind of like the guy from Alice in Chains.

I have 2 things by them: one is a 6-song EP (?) produced by Rick Rubin. Tracks are: Drag Me Down, No More Love, Lonely Again, Nothing, Try, Waste Of Time.

The other is a 2-song EP of 2 takes of No More Love. Sounds like that was a single.

I love GLU. One of the few in that pseudo-industrial-rock-crossover-hard-pop, right up there with Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Stabbing Westward, Gravity Kills, (early-mid) godhead, and Garbage. I met them, they were right amusing. The interview ended up being useless, because they ended up joking around the whole time, but I still enjoyed it.

That is all.
