Other, but I don't know which one: Counterparts, Modern Life is Rubbish, Gentlemen (I always forget, is it ...man or ...men?), perhaps something else. Souvlaki came out in 1993, dinnit?

Pet Shop Boys 'Very'. You ain't lived till you hear their version of The Village People 'Go West'.

It's not long but Bikini Kill: Pussy Whipped.

In the rap category, how about KRS-One, Biz Markie, and last but not least, how can anyone forget the immortal JUDGMENT NIGHT soundtrack!!! The names on that album are so dated now too, it's extra cool.

Good call on that. According to AMG, you're right.

Which reminds me, did those Slowdive reissues ever come out? If so I need to pick up Just for a Day and Pygmalion. I've never heard either one.

Yep im gonna buy both those two, and keep my american version of Souvlaki. JFAD reissue has all the best bonus tracks on - 'Avalyn I' etc., but the Pygmalion reissue has none. There are some great Pygmalion era demos floating around the innernet that they could have put on there.

My vote is for Cure For Pain.

I was way late for the dance on DM3. That Wildhearts record is a helluva disc as well. I'm also on board with "Cure".

My vote, however is for Martin Newell's "Greatest Living Englishman"
