Stop it…Please

I really like this board and would like to come back and start posting again but this shit has to stop. I can laugh at myself but the backlash lately is out of hand…

Am I missing something?

If you're missing it, I am too. Apparently Scott Weiland isn't thin/strung out, or if he is, it's not nice to write about it. Sure, we can be snarky, but that was a pretty soft one.

BeeOK, I didn't get your comment either.

(and I thought Hillary Duff was pretty obviously lipsyncing as her words weren't matching her mouth, so I'm not sure how she got so out of key.)

Squirrrgggle - get out of grad. school and back to the board!

It's my reference to ridiculous as being spelled ridicules (but remaining distinct from the third person conjugate of the verb to ridicule). BeeOK thought it was an assault on his character and/or intellect... But, in reality, I didn't even know he was the culprit. I just know that somone - or, more likely, multiple someones - have been spelling the adjective r i d i c u l e s.

Something to do with "ridicules"? BeeOK was the originator?
I would think its a compliment to have my typos turned into board-speak.

You're all wrong: BeeOK actually IS Scott Weiland, and is offended you think he is a no-talent asshat.

I didn't say he's a no-talent. I just meant he has no place playing guitar as part of a live STP or VR show. His skill is in singing and slithering.

Yes Job with that being a long story, it’s the holidays and I didn’t want to bring it up on the board. The only reason I said anything because Monty was about the fifth person who brought it up (if it was a one time thing, contrary to what Dale thinks, I wouldn’t of said anything), about two weeks after the fact no less. So yeah I lost it a bit.

You can't call it "backlash", because backlash is reserved for targets that have attained at least a notable amount of popularity.

Was that necessary?

I have quite a few friends within this board. I get PM all the time out of the blue regarding this and that. So whatever you think of me doesn’t matter because I am a big part of this board. I like the fact that I’m not just like everyone else…

i'm still trying to figure out what backlash you're talking about. unless I'm mistaken, the senator was talking about Scott Weiland.

After laying low for several months, his asymmetric board war against Frostingspoon pre-empted by the negotiation of a coupla board greenhorns, Elvis Fu has found his new target.

BeeOK, prepare to be called a paedophile. And not in a joking way.

Not quite. When a paedophile gets a piece of tail, he generally doesn't run and tell everyone about it, like he invented pussy.
