The Beastie Boys back catalogue, especially Check Your Head. This music has not aged well.

I think thats a majority of rap. When you look at their production compared to today? No dice.

To keep this thread from wandering...

Local H, PJ (jam not Harvey), Phish, Operation Ivy...stuff from h.s. I thought was funny, or punk a la NOFX. Bad Religion.

I listened to Built to Spill's Keep It Like a Secret today and it doesn't sound very appealing to me anymore. In fact, I think it's their weakest album now.

Ancient Melodies of the Future is my personal favorite BTS record these days, followed by There's Nothing Wrong with Love.

Sinead O'Connor's "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got"
Fishbone "The Reality of my Surroundings"
(ducking) The first two Pavement albums

On the other hand, re-purchased "Flood" by TMBG about a year ago and it sounds fresher than ever.

I'd duck too. This might be one of the craziest statements ever. If one doesn't like Pavement, that's fine, lots don't. But to suggest the first two are the ones that aren't as good as you remember?

I suggest q-tips and something else to improve lucidity and judgement.
