for many years i just listened to it on the radio on thanksgiving day. then i decided i needed my own copy on vinyl. and, as many times as i've seen it in the used record store.... i couldn't find it ANYWHERE when i actually wanted to buy it.

so, i had to get mine on ebay.

after spending the holiday with a friend rather than with family, this is the only tradition i missed, listening to alice's restaurant with my parents. oh well. there's always next year.
