snowed yesterday.
ruined my immediate thankgiving plans.

took me 30 minutes to chip my way into my car this morning.

i wish it'd never snow again.

(i used to love snow. it's just really rough where i live because it's all open and the snow just blows and drifts and i commonly get iced out of my car and snowed in to my house and my driveway.)

Strangely enough, no snow is Saskatoon. Although it is in the forecast.

I want snow in my front yard. And going up Hwy 39 isn't always the best for snow viewing. I'm better off going to Big Bear/Lake Arrowhead...or better yet, Mammoth.

Nah, Azusa canyon road in Southern CA, LA. Easy fast way of getting up to about 3000ft above sea level. snows there sometimes in the winter. nice drive if you have a car that handles. like a porsche or beemer or z.

It snowed pretty heavy this morning but then it started raining in the afternoon and now all the snow is gone. Awwwww.

My bad.

But the point remains: coming from Cali, you must chortle when you hear 'Sconsinites speak of Rib Mountain Ski Area and Timm's Hill (highest point in the state; I think it's 1300 or so ft above sea-level).

Those are nuzhing.

Or, at least, my Vacaville-native roommate frosh year thought they weren't shee'.

You're right. When I first saw the "slopes" here I did chortle. But then I started Xcountry skiing and do really enjoy it. It got tho the point that to ogo downhill in CA got to be soooo frigging expensive that it almost wasn't worth the cost/hassle. At least here the trails are groomed and a season pass is CHEAP!!!

Snow is on its way tomorrow. The only thing I don't like about it is having to hear people whine about it all day. I can't wait to hit the slopes (and the chalet afterwards).

Oh, and Saskatoon isn't my favourite word, but Saskatoons are my favourite berry. Yum.
