I am celebrating a surprise Husker domination of Colorado today, after the close Texas win over A&M. Nebraska will now probably get a better bowl bid after looking awful against Kansas and Missouri. I guess any team can win anyday. I was expecting the Huskers to get annihilated.

I hope all is going well during the holiday weekend.
I am also guessing LSU held on to make the SEC title game.

... Now, for Iowa State to beat Kansas - should be easy - and shock the world (well, the state of Texas).

I'm already happy. Coming off a losing season, I would have laughed at you if you told me Penn State would be one play away from a perfect regular season. I was satisfied after victory #6 and expecting us to tank after the Michgian loss. BCS bid et al is icing on the cake.

Congrats to the Huskers. Upset victories always feel great.

Anyway, it appears that Notre Dame should be back at the Fiesta Bowl, site of their last (and only) BCS appearance in '01. Against Penn State, prolly. So, an old rivalry renewed... But it won't be anywhere near as much fun as the Oregon State Beavers running roughshod over Bob Davie's last game, winning 41-9 while accruing 170 (?) penalty yards, though mostly for excessive celebration; that shee' was great.

So, yeah... Quit your whining.
