UK upstarts The Subways will be kicking off their first ever US tour with a free show in San Diego brought to you by local indie and alternative station 91X.

This will be the band's first ever live show, so get out there (cos it's free--score!) and show them some lovin' American style. The show is on Sunday November 27 at SOMA.
The show is at 3:00pm.

If you're not in San Diego, you may be able to check out the band on the rest of their US tour:

3 - Great Scotts - Boston, MA
6 – Vicious @ Rothko – New York, NY
7 – Stuff Magazine ‘It Issue’ Party @ North Six – Brooklyn, NY
9 - The Mod Club Theatre- Toronto, ON

The band's debut album Young For Eternity will be out in the US February 2006 on Sire.

Dri, you should go on Monday -- Living Things are also playing. I'm hoping the rest of their stuff is equal to their "Bom Bom Bom" song.

i'd go on monday, but it'd be easier for me to go on tuesday... i have to work in our la office on wednesday, so i can just stay up in la instead of having a 1 1/2hr. commute naw mean?

I would imagine a bunch of teenyboppers are gonna be there, just based on the OC vol 5 ads that are plastered wall to wall on tv. They are the featured band in the ad so...who knows though. Wish they were coming out east here a little further south of the mason dixon.
