Skip both of 'em, unless you just gotta see Fred Savage and Peter Falk in the same movie.

Never seen A Christmas Story either.

Didn't like Spaceballs.

Love The Princess Bride. I bought the special edition dvd the day after seeing it.

OK, if you say so...
Who am I to argue with Siskel and Borgbert666?

I still don't think it's as good as Xmas story.

Not a big fan of it. Never did much for me, but I also haven't seen it since it came out so maybe one day I'll try again.

But when I got a dvd player The Goonies was one of the first movies I bought on dvd. That and Young Sherlock Holmes. Love both of em.

And I'm having a hard time believing there's actually someone out there who has never seen A Christmas Story.

What are you like 11? Man, the going rate is anyone who was alive in the 80s was weened on that movie.

Just never got around to seeing it and didn't really have an interest in it.

There's a shit ton of movies that you'd think I'd have seen but haven't.

Forrest Gump
Any of the Harry Potter movies
Schindler's List

eh...don't feel bad about HP...the other two should be seen just for their cultural influences.

I refuse to see Forrest Gump. I might get around to Schindler's List one of these days.

I was 17 when it came out so I think I was more into A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 and Arnie movies then.

Well, here in the US they show it 24 hours a day for a few days around xmas. Its quickly become a holiday classic, with Christmas Vacation.

Highly recommend it.

Jesus, Mary and Josephine.

It came out in mid 80's. It's run on a loop on TBS and most other cable stations for about three days straight during christmas. Plus all the major stations(ABC etc) I think play it at least once every year during the christmas season.

It's all about a post WW2 family at christmas time and the little boy's dream to have the super special BB gun but everyone around him keeps telling him no. The hijinks that go on in his life and the crazy family he has are damn classic.

Make that two of us. I've never seen or heard of it either. Maybe it comes on at the same time as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer".

And if the above doesn't entice you to finally see A Christmas Story, the kid who starred in it went on to do porn in the early 90's.
