So I'm listening to the Coyote Shivers that materialized in my mailbox the other day, and I go to snag a photo of said album cover on AMG, and the bio talks of how he produced Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet...so I goes to the stacks, and lo and behold, who appears in the liner notes??? sure enough, just sitting there all this time.

It turns out Spencer Jones has been hanging out there too, courtesy of all those Johnnys singles I've been hoarding. BTW, I might have stumbles across someone in Oz who might be able to score his solo album for me.

Thanks again for the mixes, they do wonders for the library, but put a big bite on the wallet.

Another Coyote Shivers factoid (which you probably already know): he appeared in the film Empire Records, and had a song on the soundtrack ("Sugar High"). That song was produced, oddly enough, by Daniel Lanois.

Nice lead on the Spencer P. Jones! Keep me updated on that.

I KNEW I had heard of this dude from somewhere, and knew there was a Tyler connection, but couldn't place it.

Is the song on that sdtk a cover? B/c I thought it sounded like a chick singing.

Nope, it's an original. And he's not a chick. Although he is kinda chickish.

Sad to say I have seen that movie enough times on cable, etc... that I know exactly the song of which you speak.

How's the album as a whole? Also, did you get some mail this week?
