The New Pornographers' new one - "Twin Cinema," is really getting under my skin. In the good way. I don't know if someone's already posted about it , but it's really good.

Never been into them much before. This one sounds like a less laboured and deliberate Delgados to me. Def more rockin, but with some of the same sounds, and the dueling chick & dude singing combo.

I love it. This album has really gotten me through some tough times recently.

Fave tracks: Stacked Crooked, Star Bodies, The Bleeding Heart Show

I should probably get this, although I haven't really gotten into the New Pr0n albums I've heard to date.

Absolutely dig it. I'm starting think it's better than Electric Version too. Although nothing trumps 'The Laws Have Changed', at least in my book.

For me, it's their best album.

I dig all of em', but am I the only one here that still likes Mass Romantic the best? My favorite songs are on the newest two, but MR is the only one I can listen to from start to finish.

Why then? For myself, I'll say "I don't plan to get this, because I haven't really liked any of the New Pr0n albums I've heard to date"

Top 3 easily. When their songs come up during Shuffle Mode, up cranks the radio.

Well, I know others who had a similar reaction to prior albums but like this one. Like Katie.

Change "get" to "illegally download" and there's no problem.

probably will be top 5 for me, possibly as high as #3. as someone else mentioned, when i put my new albums on random, i feel compelled to turn up the volume when almost any new porn song comes on.

It will most certainly show up in my top 20, probably top 10.

To my ears it's slightly less hyperactive than their previous two albums, but overall just more of the same. Kinda like this thread:

Man, Twin Cinema
Twin Cinema by the New Quornographers
The New Pornographers - Twin Cinema
np - Twin Cinema
PFM review - New Pornos

Same here. I do like it more than the previous two, however, but I don't find myself spasming over like everyone else seems to.

They are better than "The 18th Century Pronstars"
