There's this Mexican joint near my house, which I just discovered a few weeks ago. Their portions are HUGE, the prices are cheap, and the food is delicious.

There's one thing in life I've always wanted to do. Go into a place and be able to say, "Give me the usual." I've been going there so much, that dream might finally become a reality.

I made some tomato sauce with sweet sausage that nearly made me weep that I was blessed with such unbelievable skill and had no one to share it with.

I've been making excellent tofu loaf, or should I say loafu? Crumbled tofers with, like, onions and brocolli n' walnuts n' parsley n' soy sauce (mmm) n' stuff like that. Baked for an hour.

Before that, my parents took us kids out for dinner when we reunited in town recently, and there they had a $16,000 bottle of balsamic vinegar, $5700 scotches (shots!) and aperitifs, and $9000 wines.

Yeah, the restaurant had that stuff, but did your parents hook you up with it?? 'Cause if not they don't love you.

I can't remember. I eat a lot of whatever anymore because I can't afford good food. I'm about to eat a Totinos pizza.

It's one of my favorites. I cooked them down with some left over ham from thanksgiving. If I ever move, I know I'll miss the food too.

Probably the ricotta & spinach tortellini I had on monday.

I've had a pizza hot dog, meatball sub + tuna sub since then.

Authentic Viet Namese egg-rolls with tabasco sauce. For supper. Scrumptious.

Authentic, because a Viet Namese colleague prepares them for and sells them to the staff, et. al.

And, considering Cory's response was to CemeteryPolka, who is of course only seventeen, a smiling emotive icon is not the only thing required....

The day after Thanksgiving I had my inlaws over.
Made a brisket.
Love brisket.
