Well, I'm not sketchy, but may I respond? The production sucks (sounds like a bunch o' demos), but his superiority as a songwriter really shines through.

I certainly don't love it either, but it's passable. He took whatever lessons he learned from Modulate and got them in here. It's cool to see him trying different things even if they might not work. Agreed with Dusty on the production. Melodies are strong. Lyrics haven't struck me.
