He was just helping this guy throw the ball for 1 million...the guy looks 60 fucking years old.

I guess thats what a Heisman does to you, when you cant really play and dont really deserve it.

Sort of like a curse.

Fuckin' Torretta---Emtman, Hall and Hoffman would have eaten him for lunch. I really wish the BCS would've been around in '91---no contest.

Oh, he bombed in the NFL (although his injuries didn't help). He was a dominant college defensive end that could take over a game, though.

As a Seahawk fan, I would ask that you please don't mention the Boz.

Which 3 QBs would you rather have:

McGwire, Stan Gelbaugh and Kelly Stouffer

or

Brooks Bollinger, Vinnie Testaverde and Kliff Kingsbury

Now this is just downright cruel. Bledsoe was already gone, so we had no choice; and he wasn't all that bad his rookie season (he did beat Bledsoe and the Pats that year).

Although, 9-2 is looking pretty good to me this season. :nugene:

I had a Steve Largent jersey when I was a kid and was a Seahawks fan into high school in the early-to-mid 1990s. Some might say that's why I hate the NFL, but I still stand by my other reasons.

Sweet. I had the Largent jersey too.

I burned it when he ran for Republican governor of OK.

When he was US Congressman, his son went to my high school, right after I graduated. I was in town for Christmas or something and went to something and saw a couple of guys I played baseball with. They had a guy I didn't recognize who was a total cut-up and damn hilarious. Turns out he was Kyle Largent.

My brother played baseball with him the next year. Apparently the students & players loved Kyle Largent, but he drove the coaches absolutely nuts.

Yeah. I'm sure Steve is a nice guy, and I don't really care about his politics (as long as he doesn't win office).

He was a hell of a lot of fun to watch play.

Mirer also won ROY over Bledsoe.

And then never did anything else ever again, except be a Joe Montana look-alike (in physical shape only).
