i think you're probabaly lucky to have a job that you care about doing well at, ryan. the alternative (even if it didn't compel you to work on weekends) would almost definitely be worse.

on the other hand, crack is also lucky to be waking up at 11:15, so it's all a rich tapestry.

i am at work now. is it wrong (read: sad) if I go to Rock Bottom after I get done here to get a burger and a beer? I will be by myself. Rock Bottom is a brew pub/restaurant. i'm banking on the answer being "why the fuck not, who gives a shit"

Something I learned in germany, when I had to be at work at either 6 or 5 in the morning... everything's relative. When I first got there, and started getting "lunch break" at 9:30 am, it was odd. When I saw guys sneaking beers at 10am, it was odd. Then, once I got acclimated, 2:30 was quittin time, and I had no problem downing a few and hitting the sack by 6:30pm.

You got up early, went to work, and then you'll be done. = time to relaxe. It's your reward for getting shit done so quick.

I'm pleased that this thread used the terms "display ads" and "DBQs".

Also, you guys in Ohio keep your classified dept. open on Saturdays?

I just ordered an early dinner from this place Reza's. It's yummy.

I too woke at 6:30. But only because my son woke up and wanted breakfast. So I poured him a bowl of cereal and told him to hang in his room with it and play for another hour til I get up. He actually for once complied.

I also just braved Target looking for stocking stuffers and a new tree skirt(which our kitten decided I must have bought as a new blanket for him to sleep on). That place frightens me on the weekend.

So, Rock Bottom is a franchised brew-pub?

Interesting to hear. Now I need not venture to the MKE location... I'll just stick to the local spots, the Safe House and such.

... Also, robotboy, I would stay clear of the waitresses at RB. Bitches are prolly skanky as a motherfucker.

rock bottom is a chain - pretty big out here. the one in portland is a really annoying place for anyone over 25.

the 'anything for a buck' comment was referring to my company...not me. so, sadly...no. not for me. not quite, anyway. ;) ha ha.

no. i'm not still at work.

i just got home from a LOOOOOOONG day of christmas shopping with some friends. my feet hurt SO bad.
(and the messed up part is....i didn't even get any xmas shopping done. so i'm going to have to brave the evil shopping crowds again sometime.)

Accumulation worries? You're only thirty... And a kid - yes, twelve year old boy sense of humour counts - at heart. You should be making snowmen. We should be having snowball fights.

And, by the by, even though I didn't hear back, I expect a Christmas card shall be in my letterbox within the next seven-to-ten days.

Yip yip.
