I went to bed at like 3:15/30 and I woke up at around 8:30 and tried my hardest to fall back to sleep. I couldn't, and i'm angry

well imagine how you would have felt if you had been up at 5:30 and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to read and reply to your post!

CP can you shovel my walk for me? Please?
I'll tell you about the freshman elevator at Pratt...

Haha, that would be just the WORST moment of my entire life!

Did it snow or something? I don't shovel. I don't like extremely cold temperatures, I start to get tense when i'm cold and that causes stress and pain and all sorts of problems. Which is why I plan to move up North....

Yeah, it snowed about 2-3 inches yesterday. I live on a corner lot and have a driveway. Oh why did I get a corner lot?

What do you consider extremely cold? I was the same way before I moved to the great frozen tundra. Yeah the Canucks are laughing right now I'm sure. but it is not that bad. I am most uncomfortable between 35 to 55 degrees. anything above or below is fine.

We got our condo on Thursday. We've been trying for like 6 weeks, lotsa issues, it's done now. It's a 100-yr-old house that was gutted and converted into a 2-flat, us downstairs and somebody upstairs.

Last night, the upstairs neighbor invited 4 or 5 of his drunkest, heaviest, loudest friends over at 2:30am. They proceded to:

- knock on our window, waking / alarming the dogs / us
- knock on our door
- stomp up the stairs
- talk to one another as though they were 100 feet apart instead of 2
- Play music at top volume, and for the coup de gras,
- DANCE UNTIL 4am.

I went up at 3, knocked 4 FUCKING TIMES TILL SOMEONE HEARD ME and told him to please stop jumping/dancing/moving furniture or whatever the fuck was going on, he apologized, etc. And then they still stomped around.

Before that, I was up till fuckin 1:45 watching The Corporation, which was pretty bad but mildly interesting, and had to get up at 8 (I know, coulda been worse) and will now be at school working on shit until later this evening. I'm hungry, and I think there are wolves after me.

Sorry. Vent.

We're painting first (half done), then I start cutting into the ceiling and putting in speakers. You know anything about RGB cables for flat tv's? I ran one (it's got 5 little gold coax wires in it), and I don't have a crimp tool to make the end connections. Ohh, and also do you have a cat5 crimp tool? Damn, I have a lot of questions, sorry.

Um, calling the cops never occurred to you?

It wasn't "cops" loud. Plus I have barely met the guy, and still hope for some sort of friendliness (anyone can get drunk and mess up once). I could barely hear his stereo, just a little of the bass. until I got up to his door... the insulation works well for mids/highs.

It was the footsteps. People walking around, dancing. That part comes RIGHT THROUGH. But calling the cops because people are walking around is crazy.

We have a cat5 crimper at the office I'll see if I can borrow it. As far as the RGB cables isn't that the same as a coax cable?

I have a regular wire crimper and stripper but you probably have the same thing only better. You are welcome to whatever I have, just give the word. Do you have a ladder? I have a good six foot fiberglass one.

Got a ladder, yes. Well, the builders actually walked off with mine, but I borrowed one.

That cat5 crimper, however, will come in handy, but not yet. Good to know - those bitches are like $45, and you need them once every 80 years.

I'd say next week. This week will be a few basic tasks, and then a shitload of schoolwork (like now). Projects, finals, and presentations are getting out of hand right now. Then I get almost 4 weeks off.
