my brother dumped a girl because she was too tall. He's 6'2" and she was like 5'10".

I've met your sister and she seemed pretty cool.....dumping a guy for that is quite humorous.

Nice

I once dumped a guy for smoking pot too much, then I started smoking pot.

I'm a hypocrite. It was years after I broke up with him, though.

He didn't count as a boyfriend, anyways, he was so goofy in the worst way. Completely embarrassing in public.

I haven't broken up with anyone for anything other than standard reasons. But I have written off large sections of people based on stereotypes I've encountered.

For instance, I won't date any girl who likes CSI or Law & Order. Every girl I've met who's been into shows like that has turned out to be an airhead or a bore. So that's one of my preliminary questions when I'm getting to know someone now.

I like Law & Order and think I'm not boring. Then again, you (an anonymous "you") might like video games like my last boyfriend, in which case, I'll more than likely break up with you cuz of it.

So I had to join in the fun on this one. Do you really think it's fair that this chick broke up with him just for that reason?

Of course it is. Very valid complaint.

Oh and hi, my name is Erin. I'm new here.

Oh and one more thing. I'm Candied Kabob's sister. And I guess I am fucking awesome. :)

Man, Cusack seems like a stand-up guy and all, but he's sliding by on 80s nostalgia and the couple good movies he did in the last decade, namely GPB (which is nonetheless feeling a bit dated already), Being John Malkovitch, and High Fidelity. His sins far outnumber his successes in the last several years, lest we forget:

Must Love Dogs
Identity
Serendipity
America's Sweethearts
Cradle Will Rock (wanted to like it, but man what a stinker)
Pushing Tin

...and most recently, Max was pretty boring. Cusack's cool, but he can do wrong, and seems to more frequently than not.

I give Serendipity a pass because it's the first time I noticed Kate Beckinsale. Hell, yeah.

Pushing Tin had some odd thing or another going for it..

I dunno, I figured that he was just trying to become a leading man, albeit one with some character, by choosing those particular roles. I guess the films themselves didn't reward in the end (I've only seen Pushing Tin), though.

I would like to see the new one. Maybe on DVD.

Wasn't there supposed to be a GPBlank sequel in the works?

America's Sweethearts really wasn't that bad. Quite funny actually. But then there's Serendipity... oh my fucking god. I can't think of a movie in the last 15 years that pissed me off like that movie. What a colossal pile of shit. Only thing saving that was the fact that Kate B is wicked hot.

tense change much?
