I meant more like Xmas songs that don't actually make you feel Christmas-y, though they're obstensibly about Christmas.

The Waits one makes me feel Christmas-y, in a downtrodden, crackwhore way.

I use indie in an all-encompassing not-ready-for-prime-time-players manner. Basically meaning somewhat un-mainstream-y.

Doesn't really mean much specific anymore.
