Yeah, well CC looked like a business venture gone wrong. There was no recent news and the forum was terribly inactive.

We might need to search for a new CC.

That's really too bad, I was having a great time. A quick google search led to a post stating that the Ireland based company was quickly running out of cash and may have to shutter it's operations.

All the albums I ended up liking enough to buy were going to be stretching the budget, especially since I'm supposed to be buying stuff for others right now. I guess I knew it was linked through a central source but I wish it were possible to just network the computers online and cut the middleman out. I had a tremendous time and thank everyone who was on and shared with me and especially FT for getting the thing up and running.

Yeh, I was just getting into it. Now I've got an 80gig HD I bought last week to fill up with tunes- it's sitting here asking me WTF.

I've picked up somwhere in the neighborhood of 700+ songs and a hand ful of videos in a bunch of newsgroups in the past three or four days. See if that will make your HD feel better.

The demise may have been predicted a bit too soon. I can finally access the CC homepage again and the program says I'm connected with no contacts online. Hopefully it will stay up for a whole lot longer.

That's good news, Jim. Before I left for work, I got the app to open, but it said "not connected." Mebbe they just had a hiccup, eh?

I just started putting stuff on at the 1st of the week, but it's growing daily, as time allows.
