Congrats, man. It is a VERY fine feeling. Enjoy it.

I should warn you about Stage 2. The the full impending horror of NOT being in grad school. Academia, while full of loads of shitty circumstances, can be a sweet life at times. What have you got lined up?

The same full-time job that I've been working at for the last 2 years - night school is for the birds, and I'll be VERY happy when it comes to an end tomorrow.

I took the day off, which is why I'm playing air guitar without being reprimanded.

Ditto.

Also, like Dump said, I'd be scared shitless if I were you. Good luck on gettin to the next stage. You have definitely made it more profitable for yourself.

Then no worries, mate! Play that fucking air guitar for all it's worth and get knee-walkin', toilet-huggin' drunk!

Try not to die before tomorrow, you have 3 hours to kill (pun maybe intended) until then.

Not having a post bachelors degree myself I cant comment beyond what an unbelieveable amount of work a Masters or Doctorate can be. I watched my wife go through getting her Masters and it was painful. So that said.

Fucking Congratulations! Kudos to you..... WOOHOO! HOOT!

Isn't it funny how seeing loved ones, or friends, peers, going for that Graduate degree can spur you on? I never thought I would want to go for it, but I have thought about it from time to time. My fear in getting a Masters personally is that in the field I work in, the only benefit of a Master's is being able to teach. That is it....

I guess not much use for a Master's in Fine Arts (Graphic Design).

I will not help. If anything, this is a sign of impeding sanity.

Congrats, Mike.

I'm effin' done, and it sure was a long day - 5 hours of driving in the snow to get to school, and 3 hours to get home. Nothing beats a good 20 hour work/school day!
