WARNING: SPOILER!

There's a scene between Julia Roberts and Clive Owen where Owen finds out that Roberts has been cheating on him with Jude Law, and an arguments follows. The climax comes when Owen asks Roberts "How did he taste?", to which Roberts answered, "Like you, only sweeter." Then Owen finished the argument by telling Roberts "Fuck off and die."

Definitely worth the admission fee.

By the way, how many men do you think have wanted to say this to our precious Julia?[/b]

I saw it. Good movie overall. I thought that scene was pretty great especially when Owen said something like, "thank you, thank you for being honest. Now get the f*** out of my sight."

It certainly wasn't my favorite movie this year but it was leagues better than 'Alfi'.

I thought Clive Owen stole the show. Do you agree, Andy?

Definitely thought he was great especially since I haven't seen him in much other than that (everyone else in the movie has already been a little type-cast for me). I thought everyone was great but his character was hilarious and very sad at the same time.

no, but shes a stripper in a strip club. clive owen goes into a private room with her, asks to see her "business", and she obliges, but the camera goes behind clive owen's head for the shot.

This upset me. Not leastways because I wanted to see Queen Amidala's cunt -- as I am sure all the Star Wars geeks were geeked up for seeing -- but as well because I wanted to scout out if there was a tattoo reading "Property of Moby" or a branding of "RMH" enveloping her naughty bits.

Saw, quite liked it. I don't think Julia Roberts had any business being in the movie, and Jude Law did an alright job. Owen definitely stole the show performance wise, and Portman renewed my already unhealthy fascination for her. No, not the best movie of the year, but it sure had its moments.

The movie was really well done, but I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say I liked it. There are absolutely no likeable characters. There is no real character development, and the only real theme seems to be that people are capable of treating each other really badly. Yet the movie doesn't bother to explore this too much or comment on it. Interesting dialogue, but not much else.

Clive Owen (who had Jude Law's role in the original play) should get nominated for something. He was great. Julia Roberts should never have been let anywhere near this movie. Plus, I think she was starting to show from her pregnancy. So, she was always dressed a little frumpily, which didn't really go with the movie at all.

just saw this and I absolutely hated it...mainly for the reasons that el_scorcho listed...there's nothing about these people that's worthwhile...at the end, when Jude Law left the hotel room to go get cigarettes, I was hoping that he would get hit by a truck

You'll have to wait for Revenge of the Sith. The Luke and Leia birth scene is way cool.

I saw it today, and this sums it up for me as well. I thought all four performances were actually quite good, even JR's. But the movie itself was definitely missing something. My wife and I have both tried to pinpoint what that "something" is, and I think el scorcho nailed it. I can see how this would have been better on stage than film.
