I took it as a class in college.

Bowling as well.

Ditto. Had the same instructor for each.

Damn, sweet gig for the instructor. I want some of that "let's go bowling" tenure.

She was old... seventies. I don't even think she could lift a bowling ball... but she knew what "brooklyn" and "turkey" meant.

Yeah, Brooklyn and Turkey. We had a godmned final exam in bowling class. People failed the class because of it. My friend E referred to our instructor as "Mitch" because she was....um, a bit manly. (an older woman with, I kid you not, one arm that was more muscular than the other from bowling training----she was also a scratch golfer.)

I was doomed in badminton because they teamed us up in pairs and the whole class was basically an elaborately designed round robin tournament. My partner was a very cute but otherwise useless Sorority Bimbette from Mississippi.......If I hadnt been so high and skinny and had hair that was navel length, I probly could have fuhd. But no, I just took an ass whippin in badminton twice a week for an entire quarter.

I think you're confusing Chuck Norris and Bill Bratzky.

I think you're confusing Steven Seagal with Mr. T.

Oh, I took tennis, too. It made me feel much more a sissie than the other two.
