Salesguy just went "Oh, man I love this song" and dashed into the broadcast booth and cranked the speakers.

He's in there now wiggling along and singly loudly off-key, in soft-rock nirvana.

This is a dude who hunts, fishes, talks shit about democrats, and is pretty much an overbearing blowhard. But put Toto, Chicago or Christopher Cross on and he goes all gooey ewey.

C'mon kids I don't hear everyone singing...

And I'll
Never be the same without you here
I'll live alone
Hide myself behind my tears
And I'll
Never be the same without your love
I'll live alone
Try so hard to rise above

I can honestly say I've never heard Christopher Cross before, and I aim to keep it that way 'til the day I die.

Think of Laura
Laugh, don't cry;
I know she'd want it that way.

Heh heh

When you get caught between the moon and New York City
I know it's crazy but it's true
If you get caught between the moon and New York City
The best that you can do
Is fall in love

I had a Christopher Cross tape when I was little. Little as in under 10. I don't know where it came from, my parent's didn't either. But anyway, I never played it because I thought it was Christian music. You know, "Cross."

I wish I remembered which album it was.

Sorry, but I've always been more of a "Ride Like the Wind" guy.

From now on, when I hear the name Christopher Cross, i picture him playing Newman's Millenium Party.

Accused and tried and told to hang
I was nowhere in sight
when the church bells rang.
Never was the kind to do as I was told.
Gonna ride like the wind before I get old.

I can't say that I really blame him. I mean, after all, everybody knows that Chris Cross'll make ya jump jump...

It's all right
I think we're gonna make it
I think it might just work out

Too late for me
Too late for love

There was a time when I wasn't sure who sang "Baker Street." My number one suspicion was Christopher Cross. I was hoping I was wrong. Thank God I was.

Enough already. Between that and the horse-fucking story, people are beginning to think I'm bulemic.
