If I set out something in Web Page Layout view and save it and send it in an e-mail, will the recipient (when they open the attachment) see the text in Web Page Layout view or will they see it in whatever view they have defaulted on their PC?

Never tried this.
Does it have a .htm extension? if so it will open up in a browser.

Actually I was just thinking of saving it as a ordinary Word document while in Web Page Layout view, I didn't think to save it as a .htm document.

Saving it in .htm means that it will open in a browser window and I don't have to worry about the text being jumbled up by Word.

I'm happy now.

It would open in their default view, fwiw. At least with my versions of everything.
