We absolutely nned to win next week. I don't want this to go to week 17 tied with Minny. Nothing would suck more suck than to have 10+ wins and be out of the playoffs.

oh i agree. today + the vikings winning really made me realize that there is an outside chance all this will go to waste, which would be tragic. i feel confident w/ the bears at home really pissed off and hopefully the steelers will take care of business vs the vikes.

uh, yeah. i don't think you proved anything there really. just that the NFC north sucks and the AFC east sucks. at least the AFC east is playing a higher caliber opponent in other AFC "non-divisional" games then your cakewalk NFC games.

Orton was 8/12 in the 4th quarter, and he had no interceptions in the game. His total QB rating was 67.2. Grossman's career rating is 71. In your opinion, what could Grossman have done better given the conditions?

Oh, I don't know that he would have done any better. I don't really follow the Bears or their players that much. It just seems that Orton hasn't been able to move the club, even when there aren't blizzard conditions.

I'm just curious. I seem to remember you are a big Grossman supporter, or you were last season, at least.

I'm not a fan of changing quarterbacks mid-season unless forced to by injury or a long losing streak, particularly when the team is headed to the playoffs. Orton is a rookie, and he's doing better than, say, Peyton Manning or Eli Manning did as a rookie.

dolphins shoulda won that buffalo game. they were 15 yards away from winning it before a controversial fumble call ended the game. i know that don't count for shit...but oh well.
as for the cleveland game, i was out of the country and deleted it off of tivo so i didn't have to endure it. i have no idea what happened and don't want to know. there is no excuse for that. i do know that they have won 3 straight since then, so saban is doing something right.

next year SK - head to head, in chicago. and i actually might make the trip out there for that game. each year a buddy of mine and i try to hit at least one dolphins game (we'll be in miami next week for the jets game).
