Any guitarists out there spot any vintage 150's? I think that will be my christmas gift to myself.

It's a wierd guitar to be your dream guitar, but damn i love em. I think i'm finally gonna start my own band with me playing guitar and singing.

I want you to have a gibson es150, so I can borrow it.

Used to work with a guy in college who had one. 45-ish, quiet, wife and kids but college-kid job. One day I saw him sitting in with some local heavies at the 40 watt, and holy shit was he good. That es150 was niiiiice on someold-school honky tonk.

My buddy pete (check out www.petegreenwood.com for rillz) doesn't like their aesthetic because they're not really a jazz box, or a killer blues machine, or anything in particular, but that's why i love em. That P-90 can sound so creamy and jazzy, but then it can turn right around and scream like a sorority girl in heat. And it'll look classy doing it too.

Nonsense man. It's not weird to be a dream guitar at all. Quite frankly I think they're elegant and wouldn't mind having one myself. But they're out of my budget and I haven't seen any for sale around here.
