I remember stuff during the Shrek commentary where Dreamworks told their staff to cut back because Princess Fiona looked too real.

Shots like the above make me wonder why the His Dark Materials films have any live action whatsoever.

Kinda blurry around the bridge of the nose, but yeah, that's really nice.

All of the little asymetries in the face are perfect. I wonder if this was based off of a single actual person. It's even more impressive if not.

I probably wouldn't have figured it out if you hadn't told me, but now that you have, there's something about the eyes...that said, it's still extremely impressive -- by far the most realistic I've ever seen.

From what I've been told by people who do this stuff, making stills is simple, but making the said man above look realistic while moving...whole 'nother ballgame.
