Wow, I was listening to "Born to Run" just a couple days ago and when that part was coming, I actually thought something along the lines of "oh boy, here it comes!" That line about the amusement park has always done it for me. (Note to self: buy the special edition of that album.)

Other favorites of mine:

She looks like the real thing
She tastes like the real thing
My Fake Plastic Love.
But I can't help the feeling
I could blow through the ceiling
If I just turn and run

and...

We’re just a million little gods causin rain storms turnin’ every good thing to rust.

I guess we’ll just have to adjust.

With my lightnin’ bolts a glowin’
I can see where I am goin’ to be
when the reaper he reaches and touches my hand.

You better get it straight darling:
Poor men wanna be rich, rich men wanna be kings,
And a king ain’t satisfied till he rules everything.
I wanna go out tonight, I wanna find out what I got.
Now I believe in the love that you gave me.
I believe in the faith that could save me.
I believe in the hope and I pray that some day it
Will raise me above these

Badlands...

also:

The ones who love us best are the ones we'll lay to rest
And visit their graves on holidays at best
The ones who love us least are the ones we'll die to please
If it's any consolation, I don't begin to understand them

We are the sons of no one, bastards of young
We are the sons of no one, bastards of young
The daughters and the sons

Damn. I actually just mentioned to the Sen. the other day how this has become my favorite Bruce song. LOVE it when Imus uses it as a bumper---reminds that I should probably start off every morning with it.

Do you have the Live In New York album? The fucking version on there slays in a real big way.

A couple from Violent Femmes...

"Broken down kitchen at the top of the stairs
Can I mix in with your affairs?
Share a smoke, make a joke
Grasp and reach for a leg of hope.

Words to memorize
Words hypnotize
Words make my mouth exercise
Words all fail the magic prize
Nothin' I can say when
I'm in your thighs"

and...

"I take one one one cuz you left me and
two two two for my family and
3 3 3 for my heartache and
4 4 4 for my headaches! and
5 5 5 for my lonely and
6 6 6 for my sorrow and
7 7 for nonono tomorrow and
8 8 I forget what 8 was for! and
9 9 9 for a lost god and
10 10 10 10 for everything
everything everything everything!!! "

I really like the last minute or os of The Smiths "Barbarism Begins at Home". That bass-line just cooks, and then at the veryt end after playing the same line for the whole nearly 7 minutes, he just alters it the tiniest little bit the very last time through - very effective.

R.E.M. "Carnival of Sorts"; the first part after the carnival type sound intro, when the band kicks in.

Joe Strummer's song "Arms Aloft" from Streetcore; the first minute and a half or so..."May I remind you of that scene?"

Wire's "Field Day for the Sundays" The whole song; hell, it's only 28 seconds.

I really dig the opening 30 seconds or so of Spoon's "Metal Detektor," when the drums echoing from the back door of a club down the alley seamlessly meld into the same drums being played in the studio.

The Aurgasm during Curve's Unreadable Communication (just before [and during] the line, "I would like to invite you to my mother's house to my bedroom to play those old records we know all the words to and I would like you to kiss me to crush me to lick me till I beg you to stop till you drive me crazy")
