Of the 10 2006 releases I have heard in their entirety, it is the best. I almost said "far and away the best," but The Minus 5 is a solid #2.

Been loving this since I picked it up last week. Solid release. Such a textured, and of course lyrically great record. I can see this being a quite a contender at the end of 06.

This is my first real listen to a Destroyer album, but I have been digging on Rubies for the past few weeks. Top 5 of the year, probably. Love the opening track.

I'm having a hard time getting into this one. I pop it in every now and then hoping that that time it will click but it still hasn't. Not a bad album, certainly, but I'm not understanding all the fuss about it.
