The weekend starts today for me.

Celebrating my wife's birthday 3 times this weekend. I wish they could have just sorted out one party damnit.

Also gonna kill off the grass in a section of my side/back yard to put in some black rocks & new plants.

Don't you people ever do anything during the week? I'd swear that most of my mongering and shenanigans are done midweek vs weekend. It probably also explains my usual lack of interest to do much of anything on the weekend

Anyway, to answer your question:

Friday night: Explosions in the Sky at The Troubadour

Saturday: Bad Santa Party in the evening (Dri and Damen shall also be in attendance); probably shop for said party earlier in the day.

Sunday: Attend a birthday BBQ at my boss' pad.

i dunno, old friend from Pittsburgh might be coming out, but i don't know with that idiot.

other than that, maybe going to the movies, having dinner with my parents and trying to keep a fire burning for as much of the weekend as possible.

christ i am the most boring person ever.

saturday: work on big paper, hang out with the family, probably go shopping, avoid old women wearing too much turquoise.

sunday: fly home, work on paper, study for finals, hang out with new man.

I'm quite familiar with the staying late at work scenario and can truly empathize. Poor Jen.

Friday: Dinner with Ninjas to celebrate last official day of work (although I will work next week). Then Ninja Tune Holidaze XXXmas party at the Casa, with $300 tab. I'm supposed to contribute to the DJ'ing, something I've never even done in private. Hopefully get laid as a consequence of my sick cuts.

Rest of the weekend: Don't know. Take it as it comes. Definitely play some racquet sports. I would like to commence my ski season.

Friday: Hopefully getting an early start at a break.
Saturday: I've got my work Xmas party. I never really boozed with these folks before and am convinced they're a bunch of lushes based on their behaviour after a couple of beers. So it could get annoying really quickly, but I'm trying to be positive. It's a pot luck as well, so I'm hoping it's not going to be 2 dozen fucking veggie trays.

not much... I don't have any moolah to spend.

It will actually be nice to have a quiet domestic weekend at home for a change.

(good luck, puma!)
