Bullet Lavolta / Iron Maiden

So last night I hear Maiden's "Number Of The Beast" on the university station. I never realized before just how much Bullet Lavolta sounded like Iron Maiden. It's almost eerie.

Hmmm. I've never heard any connection there, but i haven't listened to much Maiden. What era of Lavolta are you talking about, because their sound changed a fair amount over time. I really don't think "Before I Fall" sounds like Maiden, but I haven't done an A/B test either.

I'm thinking of stuff off of The Gift, maybe.... But Swandive is also fresh in my mind... so maybe some of the more aggressive stuff on there...
