- There's that looming NYC transit workers strike at 12:01am tonight, which if it does go through, the event is cancelled.
- I'd be taking the bus down and would be leaving at midnight, and if the strike happens while I'm already on the bus I'd just have to turn around and come back.
- The weather isn't supposed to be so good. Possibly snow, wind and rain.

Yeah it's pending. I guess they're still in talks but there's been no news on it since this afternoon and it's due to happen at 12:01am.

Yeah I guess I'm not going. The impending strike hasn't be resolved yet with less than 3 hours to go so I don't think it's going to happen. I will be pissed though if they come to an agreement at 11:58.

i decided at the last minute last night to go to this. i caught the last bus down not knowing if the transit strike was going through and thankfully it wasn't when i got there at like 3:30am. so i took the train to 56th st and got there around 4:15 and then waited out in the rain til 5 when they let us onto 56th street. it was planned kind of poorly and the cops had people just piling onto 56th st and then decided that maybe they should go inside the barricades. i was trying to listen to the show on my walkman but the delay was fucking me up so i just tried to hear what i could from the speakers in the street. it was fun but there were a bunch of meatheads that were drunk, wanted to fight, yelling random things trying to be offensive and screamed at every girl that was in a window to show her tits. i saw 2 girls in the crowd that got up on someones shoulders and flashed. one was hot, the other was kind of busted. there was a fight right next to me because no one could see over all the umbrellas and someone ripped one out of a dude's hand and then he got popped in the nose. i think i was probably 200 feet back from the stage. it was really uncomfortable because everyone was pushing and i was fucking soaked. i think artie got the most applause besides howard, and i wanted to stab my ears out at the end when he said 'last of a dying breed' 395 times.

i'll try and post some pics later but there's really none of the crowd, just of various people onstage from far away. haha

that's cool, j---i can't even imagine what kind of drunkard amateur comedian hecklers were in that crowd----Jesus! actually just saw some footage on YV....what a mess.

yeah this one dude next to me was really fucking annoying. just being a total douchebag trying to get attention.

the funniest thing was these 4 guys in front of me were discussing what to do before staind came on. one guy wanted to stay and see staind but the other 3 wanted to go down to the hard rock cafe and get in early so they could pal around with howard when he got there. so they left and near the end of the show howard said that only people with special bracelets would be let in the hard rock. dumbasses.

Well, at least they didn't have to listen to Staind. Instead they got food! Winners.
