Don’t mess around with those silly toys
Upon repeated listens this morning, The Kinks' "Father Christmas" might be my new favorite holiday flavored song. Let's see if we can't dig up some good ones this year. Before you say it, don't bother with "Fairytale of New York". Yes it's a great song, but in these circles it's akin to saying your favorite artist is Salvador Dali. Sure, it's "out there" for the Thomas Kinkadeophiles, but have some balls and pick something different this time. And don't bring up that Prentenders dreck, either.
Billz is on the right track with The Dickies' "Silent Night". Honorable mention always goes to Pansy Division's "Homo Christmas".
